Michael Hintze receives knighthood for services to the arts

Michael Hintze, the founder of CQS, has been made a Knight Bachelor in the Queen's birthday honours.

According to the Financial Times, Hintze's knighthood "reflects his contribution to the arts, having given £30m to about 200 causes, including donations to the Victoria & Albert Museum and the National Gallery. He has also given about £1.4m to the Conservative party."
